Terms and Policies

eBIKE RENTAL TERMS AND POLICIES

Daily Rental. Trike With Us, LLC rents eBikes one (1) day at a time. For multiple daily usage the Renter will need to book a new reservation for each day. All eBikes will have to be picked up and returned each day. This policy exists for maintenance and battery charging. All eBike rentals include a helmet, bike lock and key.

Local Use. Trike With Us, LLC rents eBikes for local use. Our business model and insurance requirements only permit eBikes to be used in the Palisade and East Orchard Mesa areas. Transporting eBikes to other areas outside of Palisade and East Orchard Mesa is strictly prohibited.


Damage Deposit. Trike With Us, LLC requires a security deposit in the amount of $100 for each eBike rental for minor damage not covered by damage beyond repair or theft insurance. The damage deposit is fully refundable if no damage is determined at time of return.

Insurance. If the eBike is stolen or damaged beyond repair during your rental period you will be required to pay the full replacement cost of the eBike. The replacement cost for the Rambler is approximately $1300, the single seat TriHauler is approximately $2750 and the two seat TriHauler is approximately $3250. Trike With Us, LLC provides a bike lock to use with the eBike rental, it is up to you to lock the eBike and store it securely while not in use. Insurance is available to cover damage beyond repair or theft for $10 per eBike rental.

Property. Trike With Us, LLC provides a helmet, bike lock and key with every eBike rental to ensure your safety and security during your ride. Unreturned property will be charged at time of return; helmet $50, bike lock and key $25.

Late Return Fee. All eBikes are to be returned by 5:00 PM the same day they are rented and at the same location they were picked up. If the eBike is not returned by 5:00 PM you have a 15-minutes grace period. All eBikes returned after 5:15 PM will be accessed a late fee of $20 for every 15-minutes after 5:15 PM.


Left Property. Trike With Us, LLC is not responsible for any personal property left on the eBike or at the pick up and return of the eBike. All personal property is the responsibility of the Renter.

Fines and Expenses. Trike With Us, LLC is not responsible for any fines, tickets, fees, assessments or recovery charges incurred or imposed during the rental period of the eBike. 

Retrieval Fees. A retrieval fee of $100 will be charged for the following:
• Malfunction or failure in a result of an accident or damage caused from an accident making the eBike inoperable.
  Please note depleting the eBike battery of all its power is not a malfunction or failure.
• An eBike not returned as required per the Rental agreement.
• Loss of the bike lock key after lock is in place causing the eBike to be unusable. 

Bike Safety and CODOT Rules of the Road. Trike With Us, LLC advises and encourages Renters to wear a DOT approved helmet which is provided with the eBike rental. Trike With Us, LLC also encourages all Renters to be fully aware of and follow all bike safety and rules of the road required by Colorado Department of Transportation.
